Does It Look Like Rain?

I think I am in the clear
I never meant surrender
losing you was something I feared
this is true why would I pretend there?

I regret not knowing you back then
when it was much easier to stage it
all the same the search is over
we now have painstakingly to face it

DOES IT LOOK LIKE RAIN
DOES IT FEEL LIKE SORROW
CAN YOU HIDE YOUR PAIN
WILL YOU SEE ME TOMORROW

We long for some better days
but wars are around the corner
the warmonger will have to pay
before it's much too late for all of us
